The purpose of the festival:
Based on the ancient health and cultural heritage of the ancient Carian civilization, the aim of the Meet Datça International Festival is to create a sustainable, regionally focused promotional model by combining local production shaped by women's labor with modern branding processes, empowering local producers through global collaborations and mentorship networks, and diversifying the district's tourism potential around nature, culture, and gastronomy, thereby bringing the tourism season forward. The Meet Datça International Festival is a regional development movement that blends the profound spirit of ancient Caria, bearing traces of health, culture, and art, with the productivity of modern women. The festival's main objective is to unite the disciplines of fashion, music, and cuisine under the common denominator of "Women's Labor," bringing our producers to a global stage through mentorship, branding local products, and promoting Datça's riches beyond the sea through an international network of solidarity, thereby creating an ecosystem that will extend regional tourism throughout the year.
